How much do plans cost?
Billed annually, Lite is $53 a month, Essentials is $89 and Pro is $134, including GST. Billed monthly, Lite is $59 a month, Essentials is $99 and Pro is $149, including GST.
What are the introductory prices?
Plans started before 1 January 2027 are on introductory prices: Lite $59, Essentials $99 and Pro $149 a month, including GST. Plans started from that date pay the standard prices of $99, $199 and $249 a month. A plan keeps the price it started on for as long as it stays active.
What is a scope of works?
A scope for the work you are pricing, read from the drawings by a person on our team: the quantities, an itemised take-off and an order list, how it is built, the work sequence with its hold points, and what needs to be confirmed before you start. It covers the parts of the job you choose, not the builder's full tender scope.
What is a cost estimate?
A price for the work you are pricing, prepared by our team from the drawings and based on how you price: supply and install, labour only or supply only. It gives low, likely and high prices with GST shown, and how the price is made up, at your labour rate and margin if you give them. It comes with Essentials and Pro. It is a preliminary estimate to price from, not a quote.
What is a programme?
How long your work takes on site, prepared by our team from the drawings and your scope, for your crew and your working week: the start, target finish and latest finish dates, the job week by week, what has to be ready before you start, the hold points and the weather days. It comes with Essentials and Pro.
Do unused requests roll over?
On Pro, yes: anything you do not use in the month it is issued stays available for 90 days, and the oldest is used first. On Lite and Essentials, a month's requests are for that month.
What does your name and logo on reports mean?
On Essentials and Pro, every report you download carries your business name and logo, so you can hand it to the builder or your client as your own document. Add your logo in Business Details. On Lite the report carries BuilderHQ's.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Move up a plan at any time and pay only the difference for the rest of the period you have paid for, or move from monthly to annual billing. To move down, change to monthly billing, or cancel, use your billing settings: the change takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed annually or monthly, in Australian dollars, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Prices include GST, which is shown on each invoice, and you can download your invoices from Plan and Billing.
Can I see a sample before I choose a plan?
Yes. Every trade account opens with a sample scope of works, a sample cost estimate and a sample programme, and you can add your projects and their drawings before you choose a plan.
